Carrera/Caminata Energy for Life
El día 4 de febrero de 2012, desde las 12 del
mediodía hasta las 5 p.m., Allen Parkway estará
cerrada desde Bagby hasta Waugh Dr. La carrera/

Customers traveling in and around the Texas
Medical Center area may expect minor delays
for the duration of the event. For additional

Energy For Life Run/Walk
From noon until 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012,
Allen Parkway will be closed from Bagby to Waugh Dr.
The run/walk will begin at 1:30 p.m. on
Allen Parkway (inbound and outbound) between
Bagby and Waugh Dr. METRO will detour bus service
to avoid potential delays due to the Energy for Life
Run/Walk.
Customers traveling in and around the area may
expect minor delays for the duration of the event.

Annual Texas Med 5K Run
On Saturday, February 11, 2012, there will be a 5k run beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Ben Taub Loop. Street Closures 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.The following routes will be affected:

Scheduled Service Interruption

Where: All rail stations will be closed
Why: Construction for Texas Children’s Hospital
Bus Service will operate as follows:
Saturday, February 4,
5 a.m. to 6 p.m. - 6 minute frequency Buses will utilize the
700 Rail Shuttle route
except in the Medical
Center area (Dryden
and Memorial
Hermann stations).
Bus service requires
more travel time, so
please allow more
time for your trip.
Buses will not be
able to access the
U-H Downtown station
due to construction.
Customers starting
their trips on the rail
system can purchase
their fare using the
TVMs on the rail platform
or their Q Cards;
customers transferring
from the bus system
will purchase their
fare in the routine
manner.
METRO personnel
will be available to
provide assistance.
Normal service will
resume at 6 p.m.

Due to construction on Fulton at Frawley St., the 15 Fulton will have to be detoured during business hours beginning Thursday Feb. 2, 2012 thru Friday Feb. 3, 2012. Please utilize the following detour during these closures.

50 HARRISBURG
Beginning Monday, January 16, 2012, due to METRORail construction, this route is scheduled to be detoured. Please utilize the following route.

50 HARRISBURG W/B - Via Harrisburg, continue across Dowling to Prairie, right Bastrop, left Preston, left Hamilton, right Capitol to regular route.
New Routing Thru Parking Lot For METRORail Construction
NOTE: Both S/B and N/B buses will travel on the opposite side of the parking lot that they currently travel.
NOTE: The S/B buses will travel the opposite direction on Providence, right Vine, left Rothwell, right San Jacinto to regular route.
NOTE: The N/B buses will travel the same direction that they currently operate.
NOTE: Use caution throughout the construction zone and be aware that buses will travel in both directions on Providence St. and Vine St.
North Main Street Rail Construction
Beginning Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 12:00 noon, a re-route of all buses will occur due to construction of N. Main between Wood St. and Naylor St. During this construction, please utilize the following route.

Sabo Rd. between Kingspoint Dr. and Fuqua is scheduled to be closed to southbound traffic beginning April 5, 2011. During this closure, please utilize the following detour.

321 TMC Blue
Construction project will close Fannin between Holcombe and Dryden beginning Friday, October 14, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. thru Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. During this closure please utilize the following detour.
