METRO CLOSING HOV LANES DUE TO ICING/ TWO BUS ROUTES ALSO DETOURED

Icy conditions on many ramps and overpasses forced METRO to close the HOV lane system until further notice.

Two bus routes have also been detoured - the 45 Tidwell and the 73 Bellfort - and there are minor delays on METRORail due to ice on the overhead wires.

Route 45 is being detoured as follows: From Tidwell to Jensen, to Crosstimbers, to Irvington and returning to Tidwell. This detour will miss five to six stops.

The 73 Bellfort is being detoured as follows: from Bellfort to Night, to Holmes, to 288 Service Road, returning to Bellfort.

Please be advised that most routes are experiencing delays due to weather conditions affecting the entire service area.
