WHAT:  Two-time heavyweight world boxing champion and hometown hero George Foreman will be signing the METRORail train carrying Foreman’s I Ride image.
 
WHEN:  4 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2008
 
WHERE: METRO’s Rail Operations Center, 1601 W. Bellfort at Fannin.
 
WHO: METRO President & CEO Frank J. Wilson and boxing champion/electric grill czar George Foreman
 
ABOUT: Two-time heavyweight champion George Foreman will step into the ring –literally – to autograph the METRORail train sporting his likeness from METRO’s I Ride campaign.
 
Foreman, along with fashion designer Chloe Dao and Houston Astro’s outfielder Carlos Lee, starred in the I Ride campaign. Each adorn a METRORail train.
 
This is the first METRORail train to be autographed by a celebrity. It may be the first ever signed in the world.
